What should actually come back?

Calculate the known-dollar refund after the published return deductions. If the seller has already quoted a number, audit it on the same price basis and get the itemization questions to ask next.

This is an ordinary change-of-mind audit. Shipping damage, defects, warranties, dealer orders, promotions, financing, inspection findings, and legal rights can use a different path. A difference is a question to itemize, not proof that a seller is wrong.

How do I calculate an e-bike return refund?

Start with the bike price on the same basis as the seller quote. Subtract the published percentage deduction and fixed charges. If the policy permits freight or another amount without publishing it, keep that amount visibly unknown instead of treating it as zero.

What if the seller's refund quote is lower than the calculator?

Ask the seller to identify the request path, percentage basis, fixed charges, freight, inspection result, and exact policy section in writing. A lower quote is not automatically an error when the policy leaves freight or inspection deductions unpriced.

Can I use this calculator for a damaged or defective e-bike?

Not as an ordinary change-of-mind answer. Shipping damage, defects, warranties, dealer sales, financing, promotions, and rights under applicable law can follow different eligibility, evidence, freight, and refund rules.

Does Skinflint store the price or seller quote?
